New Bookstore Opens in Forlì’s Historic Center

30 October 2026

At 12 Via delle Torri, in Forlì, a new bookstore has opened: just a stone’s throw from the central Aurelio Saffi square, Ubik has indeed inaugurated a new point of sale (the franchise was already present in the regional capital inside the Punta di Ferro shopping center).

The store is run by Paolo Poni – who until today has managed the shop in the mall – and Kemmy, a young bookseller fresh from an experience at the nearby Ubik in Cervia.

The Romagna bookstore offers a wide assortment of volumes: from Italian and foreign fiction to non-fiction and books in their original language, but there are also books for girls and boys, comics, manga, romance, and, naturally, space also for the titles most loved by BookTok.

Amelia Hartwell

I write about books the way I read them: slowly, curiously, and with attention to the details that linger after the final page. At Lythrum Press, I cover literary fiction, essays, memoirs and the wider culture of reading, with a particular interest in voices that challenge familiar ways of seeing the world. My work is guided by one simple idea: a good book deserves more than a reaction — it deserves a conversation.
