Chapter no 18

Wreck & Ruin

WHEN WE GOT BACKย to the clubhouse, he disappeared into the office. While I was trying to process the loss of my childhood safe haven, Colt was sitting alone, dealing with whatever Dev had told him.

And if Iโ€™d had the energy, Iโ€™d have been spitting mad at him. Our relationship was intense, and I was still new at it. But, I wasnโ€™t such a novice to know that when a woman needed a shoulder to lean on, it was her manโ€™s duty to be there.

But the Blue Angels were watching me, and I refused to look like a coward. So I left Colt to his own devices and then went to find his sister.

Joni would know what to say to me. Sheโ€™d grown up with him; she mustโ€™ve had some directives about how to handle Coltโ€™s complete emotional shut down.

My heart trembled with pain and confusion. Usually, when he didnโ€™t want to tell me something, he blamed it on club business. But this wasnโ€™t club business. Whatever Dev said to him had gotten through Coltโ€™s tough exterior and turned him into a different man.

The violent man from the first night Iโ€™d met him was back.

I was nearly to the third floor when Joni said, โ€œI donโ€™t want to talk about this.โ€

โ€œWell, I do,โ€ Zip rasped.

I paused mid-step, knowing the right thing to do would be to turn around and go downstairs to give them privacy. Or interrupt them by continuing my ascent.

I didnโ€™t do either.

Instead, I decided to stop where I was and eavesdrop like a reality TV drama addict.

โ€œYou canโ€™t go on a date with that doctor,โ€ Zip stated.

Joni snorted in dry amusement. โ€œYou canโ€™t tell me what to do. You canโ€™t tell me who to date.โ€

โ€œIโ€™m not telling you who to date. Iโ€™m telling you whoย notย to date.โ€ โ€œWhy do you even care?โ€ she demanded.

Apparently Zip didnโ€™t appreciate her sass because he said, โ€œLast night in your apartment you threw yourself at me.โ€

She gasped.

โ€œYou not only threw yourself at me, you took off your shirt and pressed your tits against me.โ€ His voice was a low, sexy growl.

Joni didnโ€™t reply.

โ€œYou pressed your tits against me and then you ground your body against mine.โ€

โ€œYeah,โ€ she said, suddenly sounding tired. โ€œAnd being the gentleman that you are, you didnโ€™t even touch me.โ€

โ€œBabeโ€”โ€

โ€œWhich is why Iโ€™m going on a date with that doctor. You donโ€™t see me, Zip. Youโ€™ve never seen me. And every time I put myself out there, you reject me. Thereโ€™s only so much of that I can take, you know?โ€

โ€œItโ€™s complicated. Coltโ€™s my president. My best friend. Youโ€™re his little sister.โ€

โ€œItโ€™s not complicated. Actually itโ€™s really simple. You donโ€™t want me enough to risk Coltโ€™s wrath. To risk what it will do to your friendship.โ€

โ€œDarlinโ€™โ€”Joniโ€”please.โ€

She sighed. โ€œLeave me alone, Zip. Iโ€™m begging you to leave me alone.

Give me a chance to be happy with someone else. All right?โ€

For a moment I wasnโ€™t sure heโ€™d answer her and then he said softlyโ€”so softly I almost didnโ€™t hear him, โ€œAll right.โ€

The disappointment in the air was palpable. I heard Zipโ€™s heavy booted footsteps coming toward the staircase and I immediately began hiking up the stairs again, hoping that when I ran into Zip I could play off that I was just coming up now.

He turned the corner and came down two steps before stopping. โ€œMia,โ€ he said, surprise coloring his voice. โ€œWhat are you doing up here?โ€

Blazes of color trailed up his neck. Anger? Embarrassment?

I forced a small smile. โ€œHey. We just got back. Coltโ€™s in the office.โ€

He nodded. We moved past each other on the stairs and when he was on the second floor landing, said, โ€œIโ€™m sorry about your house.โ€

My throat tightened with emotion. โ€œThank you.โ€

I went to Joniโ€™s room and knocked. She opened the door, swiping at her cheeks and attempting to hide her head.

โ€œHey,โ€ she said, her tone morose and miserable.

โ€œYou look how I feel,โ€ I told her, not even able to summon up a smile.

A cry escaped her lips and her eyes filled with tears. โ€œZip came to tell me about your grandmotherโ€™s house. Iโ€™m so sorry.โ€

โ€œIs that all he came to tell you?โ€ I asked, pinning her with a stare.

Her gaze widened and then she stood back to let me inside the guest room. It was clean and tidy with a double bed. It had its own small bathroom, but didnโ€™t have a tub.

She shut the door and leaned back to rest her head against it. โ€œYou heard, didnโ€™t you?โ€

โ€œI mightโ€™ve been listening.โ€

Joni let out a strangled laugh. โ€œHere I am, worried about something inconsequential when youโ€™re dealing with the loss of your home.โ€

I swallowed. โ€œGot any booze?โ€

โ€œNot up here,โ€ she said. โ€œI can go down to the kitchen and swipe a bottle, but if I do that, Rachel, Allison, and Darcy will know something is up and demand entry into the sanctuary.โ€

I thought about it for a moment. โ€œIโ€™m okay with that if you are. I justโ€”I wanted to talk to you about Colt first.โ€

โ€œWhat about him?โ€

I described what had happened after he spoke to Dev on the phone and how Colt had gone cold. No emotion had crossed his face, and I worried he was ready to hurt someone.

Joni nodded. โ€œHe was like that the first few years after Dad died. Itโ€™s Coltโ€™s version of survival mode. I couldnโ€™t get throughโ€”most of the time he couldnโ€™t be reached. Like, no matter what I said to him, he wouldnโ€™t hear me.โ€

โ€œYears?โ€ I asked. โ€œHe was like this for years?โ€

โ€œYeah. Heโ€™s older now. Weathered a few more storms. But this is a part of Colt and whatever Dev said to himโ€”he didnโ€™t tell you, did he?โ€ When I shook my head she went on, โ€œYeah, whatever Dev said to Colt shut him down.โ€

โ€œItโ€™s like he turned into someone else. Focused, callous.โ€ โ€œRuthless,โ€ Joni added.

โ€œColt disappeared into the office the moment we got back here. I have no idea whatโ€™s going on. I just know the partyโ€™s been canceled considering neither of us are in a celebratory mood.โ€

โ€œIโ€™m not in a celebratory mood either, if it makes any difference.โ€ โ€œShould I try talking to Colt?โ€

โ€œNo. Let him come to you.โ€

โ€œMy grandmotherโ€™s house was set on fire today,โ€ I said softly. โ€œAnd all I can think about is what Dev said to Colt to make him retreat.โ€

She reached out and squeezed my hand. Unfortunately, she hadnโ€™t given me any tools in how to break through Coltโ€™s coldness. I shook my head and changed the subject. โ€œWhat happened between you and Zip?โ€

โ€œExactly how much did you hear?โ€ she asked instead of answering. โ€œSomething about pressing your tits against himโ€ฆโ€

Her cheeks flamed with sudden chagrin and then she straightened her shoulders. โ€œI could blame the pain meds for my behavior, and maybe they did have something to do with it. It made me bold and I did exactly as he said. But he justโ€ฆhe pushed me off him. Something inside of me broke when he did it, Mia. That was my last straw, you know? I thought nothing could hurt worse than seeing him with tramps climbing all over him. But it turns out, when you offer yourself, body and soul to a man, and he brushes you aside, that hurts far worse than anything else.โ€

I sighed. โ€œWe really shouldโ€™ve gotten a bottle of booze before diving into this.โ€

She nodded. โ€œNo shit.โ€

โ€œIโ€™ll go downstairs and grab it,โ€ I said. โ€œThat way thereโ€™s no chance of you seeing Zip.โ€

Joni looked relieved. โ€œThank you.โ€

I left her room and took the stairs quickly, worried that Iโ€™d run into Zip and have to lie to his face again. But my feelings were all for naught. The only Blue Angel in the clubhouse was Gray, and he was sitting on a couch with Darcy nestled in his arms. Rachel and Allison were standing in the kitchen, drinking out of red solo cups.

โ€œWhere is everyone?โ€ I asked.

Darcy looked over her shoulder at me. โ€œYou didnโ€™t hear the bikes peel out of here?โ€

I shook my head.

โ€œThey left,โ€ Darcy said. โ€œCheese, Gray, and two prospects stayed back to stand guard. The kids are watching a movie in the theater room in the basement.โ€

They left? And Colt hadnโ€™t even had the courtesy to say goodbye? Fuck. That.

He didnโ€™t get to shut down on me and then leave without saying a word.

Not after what Iโ€™d been through.

โ€œWhereโ€™s Joni?โ€ Gray asked. โ€œShe feeling okay? She hasnโ€™t come out of her room all afternoon.โ€

โ€œSheโ€™s fine. I actually came down to get a bottle of liquor. Weโ€™re having a girlsโ€™ pow-wow in her room.โ€

โ€œGreat!โ€ Rachel said. โ€œNow you can teach us how to play poker.โ€ She opened a kitchen drawer and pulled out a deck of cards.

Darcy kissed Grayโ€™s cheek and whispered something to him. He nodded and patted her leg. She hopped up and said, โ€œWhat are we drinking?โ€

โ€œTequila,โ€ Rachel and I said at the same time.

โ€œI need a lemonade refill,โ€ Allison said, lifting her cup. โ€œIโ€™ll cut the limes,โ€ Darcy stated. โ€œRach, grab the salt.โ€ โ€œOn it.โ€

Five minutes later, we were ready to head upstairs when Cheese came inside. โ€œMia,โ€ he said, โ€œa woman is here for you. Says she was invited to the party.โ€

โ€œCrap. Blonde? Tall? Wonโ€™t take no for an answer?โ€ He nodded, a slight smile on his face.

โ€œThatโ€™s Shelly. I forgot to tell her the party was canceled.โ€ I looked at the three women who were waiting by the stairs to get our girlsโ€™ night started.

โ€œDo you guys mind one more?โ€ I asked.

โ€œNo, bring her!โ€ Rachel said. โ€œWeโ€™ll meet you up there.โ€

โ€œSounds good.โ€ The three of them disappeared and I turned back to Cheese. โ€œIs it okay to let her in?โ€

โ€œSure thing. Iโ€™m gonna call Prez and give him the heads up about the situation.โ€

โ€œYou do that,โ€ I murmured to his retreating back.

โ€œHow are you doing?โ€ Gray asked, startling me. He was so quiet Iโ€™d forgotten he was even there.

โ€œOkay. I guess.โ€ I sighed. โ€œHow did you get roped in to staying back with all the women and children?โ€

He looked at me. โ€œWhy? You think I canโ€™t handle shit?โ€ โ€œNo, I didnโ€™t mean anything by it.โ€ I tried to backtrack.

โ€œHey, I was just trying to get your goat.โ€ He smiled. โ€œRelax. I know how it looks.โ€

He was soft around the middle, like a lot of men in middle age. โ€œOne thousand yards,โ€ he said.

โ€œExcuse me?โ€

โ€œAll I need is one shot, and if youโ€™re anywhere within a thousand yards itโ€™s bye-bye. I was a scout sniper in the Army. I can handle things here, donโ€™t you worry.โ€

My eyes widened. โ€œDarcy never mentionedโ€ฆโ€ He shrugged.

โ€œThis is the saddest party Iโ€™ve ever seen,โ€ Shelly said, causing me to turn.

She was dressed from head to toe in all black. Her blond hair was curled and sprayed and she looked ready for a night on the town. Cheese stood behind her, gazing at her with obvious adoration.

โ€œThereโ€™s been a change of plans,โ€ I said, walking to her.

Shelly embraced me in a vanilla perfumed hug and I closed my eyes.

She was familiar. She was family.

โ€œWhat happened?โ€ she asked. โ€œWhere is everyone? Whereโ€™s this man of yours?โ€

โ€œIโ€™ll tell you upstairs.โ€

Shelly pulled back and raised her eyebrows but said nothing.

Gray introduced himself to Shelly with a quick handshake. While Gray and Shelly talked for a few minutes, I went over to Cheese who still looked awe-struck.

โ€œSheโ€™s engaged,โ€ I told him. โ€œEngagements end.โ€

I burst out laughing, enjoying Cheeseโ€™s arrogance. I didnโ€™t have the heart to tell him that Mark and Shelly were the real deal, and even if they werenโ€™t and Shelly was single, she wasnโ€™t going to go for a biker.

My phone buzzed in my back pocket and I took it out. Coltโ€™s name flashed across the screen. I thought about being incredibly juvenile and ignoring him, but I knew heโ€™d only call back. Or call Cheese to check in on everything.

โ€œYes?โ€ I asked, answering the phone and going into the kitchen nook for a measure of privacy.

He paused. โ€œYouโ€™re pissed.โ€

โ€œDamn right, Iโ€™m pissed. You didnโ€™t even say goodbye to me.โ€ Colt let out a weathered sigh. โ€œIโ€™ll be back late. Donโ€™t wait up.โ€ He hung up on me and I stared at the phone for a second.

Pissed had just morphed into rage. โ€œUh oh,โ€ Shelly said.

โ€œUh oh, what?โ€ Cheese asked.

โ€œMiaโ€™s about to go Oโ€™Banion on someoneโ€™s ass.โ€ Cheese frowned. โ€œI donโ€™t know what that means.โ€

โ€œIt means,โ€ Shelly explained, โ€œthat sheโ€™s half Irish and itโ€™s about to show.โ€

โ€œI can hear you,โ€ I snarled.

โ€œGuess I better get back out there,โ€ Cheese said, stepping toward the exit. โ€œProspects donโ€™t know their asses from their elbows.โ€

โ€œYou were a prospect not even six months ago,โ€ Gray said with a laugh. I grasped Shellyโ€™s hand and pulled her to the stairs. We got up to the third floor and I could hear the sound of laughter and conversation coming from Joniโ€™s room. Coltโ€™s sister was perched on the bed, leaning against the wall, a cup in her hands. Darcy, Rachel, and Allison had taken pillows and set them on the floor and were sitting in a circle, the bottle of tequila and

the bowl of lime wedges in the center.

โ€œThere you are!โ€ Darcy said with a grin. โ€œHi!โ€ She looked at Shelly. โ€œIโ€™m Darcy.โ€ The other women chirped their names.

โ€œWould you like a drink?โ€ Rachel asked Shelly.

โ€œSure.โ€ She set her purse in the corner. โ€œWhat are we drinking?โ€ โ€œTequila shots,โ€ Joni announced.

โ€œOh, then I definitely want a drink.โ€ Shelly winked.

Those who could drink alcohol did a round of shots. When Shelly spit out her lime, she looked at me and said, โ€œYou never did tell me why the party got cancelled.โ€

โ€œThe party got cancelled because my house caught on fire. I wasnโ€™t feeling very celebratory after that.โ€

โ€œHoly fuck. How did that happen?โ€

I met Joniโ€™s gaze and then my head swiveled to Darcyโ€™s. Both of them had blank expressions and I knew what I had to say.

โ€œThe fire chief thinks it was something with faulty electric. I wonโ€™t know until he calls. And I donโ€™t know the extent of the damage yet.โ€

โ€œYou werenโ€™t home, right?โ€ โ€œNo. I was at Coltโ€™s.โ€

โ€œThank God. Iโ€™m so sorry about your house. Thatโ€™s likeโ€”I canโ€™tโ€”why does shit keep happening to you?โ€

โ€œI told you Iโ€™m a beacon for trouble,โ€ I quipped, but my lip wobbled.

She squeezed my arm. โ€œOkay, let me finally get a good look at your tattoo.โ€

I gave her my back and pulled my braid to the side so she could uncover the bandage.

My best friend whistled. โ€œThis is gorgeous.โ€ โ€œYeah?โ€

โ€œYeah. Whoever did your tattoo did a stellar job.โ€ She covered it back

up.

โ€œRoman over at Three Kings did it,โ€ I said.

โ€œIโ€™m trying to convince Mark that we should get matching ink. Heโ€™s not

having it.โ€

โ€œWhoโ€™s Mark?โ€ Rachel asked. โ€œMy fiancรฉ.โ€

โ€œYouโ€™re engaged!โ€ Allison squealed. โ€œShow us the ring!โ€

Shelly whipped her hand out to present her classy, elegant diamond. โ€œWhenโ€™s the wedding?โ€ Joni asked.

โ€œIโ€™m not sure,โ€ she said slowly, looking at me. โ€œI kind of wanted to wait until Mia can be part of the festivities.โ€ She shook her head. โ€œYou were leaving town and now youโ€™re shacked up with aโ€ฆBlue Angel. Jesus, things change fast.โ€

โ€œYeah. They do.โ€

Darcy tossed me the deck of cards. โ€œYou promised to teach us how to play poker.โ€

โ€œNo, I promised Iโ€™d teach you how to cheat at poker.โ€ I laughed. Joni slid off the bed and squeezed into the circle.

โ€œDid you get a tattoo too?โ€ Shelly asked, gesturing to Joniโ€™s arm.

โ€œTake another shot,โ€ I told her. โ€œI have some shit to tell you.โ€ I wasnโ€™t able to divulge everything that was going on, but it was for her own protection.

Three hours later, we were all hammered. Gray had come upstairs to check in on us, but aside from him, there had been no word from the outside world. My phone didnโ€™t buzz with a message from Colt.

โ€œI need my bed,โ€ Allison said finally.

โ€œWhy? You havenโ€™t even been drinking,โ€ Shelly pointed out. โ€œIโ€™m pregnant.โ€

Shellyโ€™s eyes were glassy. โ€œOh. Why didnโ€™t you say so earlier? This whole time I thought you were just a straight-laced weirdo.โ€

They all cackled. Shelly fit right in with my new friends and it warmed my heart.

โ€œI need a smoke,โ€ Rachel said.

โ€œI need air,โ€ Shelly muttered. โ€œI shouldnโ€™t have had that last shot. Iโ€™m not safe to drive.โ€

โ€œLast shot?โ€ Joni repeated with a teasing smile. โ€œMore like the last three.โ€

Shelly rolled her eyes.

โ€œThe sofa in the basement theater room has a pull out couch. You should crash there,โ€ Darcy said.

โ€œReally?โ€ Shelly asked.

โ€œOr, if youโ€™re feeling dangerous, Iโ€™m sure Cheese would let you sleep in his bed,โ€ I teased.

โ€œStop,โ€ she said with a laugh.

Darcy stood up off the floor and shook out her leg. โ€œOoh, it fell asleep.โ€

I put the cards back into their box and also rose and held a hand to Joni to help her stand.

We went downstairs, drunkenly jabbering like magpies. Even though Iโ€™d had enough alcohol to fell an elephant, it didnโ€™t fill the aching sadness in my chest. I drank to temper the feelings of watching my grandmotherโ€™s house go up in flames. I drank to forget the feelings of loneliness inspired by Coltโ€™s sudden emotional withdrawal.

Despite being in the company of my friends and watching them all get along and joke around, I felt alone.

โ€œIโ€™m going to go check on Gray and the kids,โ€ Darcy said. โ€œIโ€™ll meet you guys at the picnic tables.โ€

She waved us toward the back door and then turned the opposite direction down the hallway to the living room.

โ€œIโ€™m going to bed,โ€ Allison announced. โ€œSeriously, I can barely keep my eyes open.โ€

โ€œYouโ€™re no fun now that youโ€™re knocked up,โ€ Rachel said with a playful grin.

โ€œJust you wait. Your time will come.โ€ Allison leaned over and gave me a quick hug and then did the same to Shelly. โ€œIt was great meeting you. I hope we see more of you.โ€

With a final wave, she went into Torqueโ€™s room and closed the door. โ€œAnd then there were four,โ€ Joni said.

The night air was warm but not sweltering and I breathed in a deep breath.

โ€œWill it bother you if I smoke?โ€ Rachel asked. We shook our heads and Rachel pulled out a pack of cigarettes. โ€œI really do need to quit.โ€

โ€œYeah, you do,โ€ Joni said.

โ€œNow, now, Nurse Joni. None of that.โ€ She lit the cigarette and then took a drag. โ€œJesus. Nothing else relaxes me quite like a cigarette.โ€

โ€œNot even an orgasm?โ€ Shelly asked with wicked amusement. โ€œWell, not the same ballpark.โ€ Rachel winked.

โ€œWhoa, I think I need to sit down,โ€ Joni said. โ€œI had more to drink than I realized.โ€ She plopped down on a picnic table bench and leaned back, resting her elbows on the table before looking up at the night sky.

I took advantage of the moment while Rachel and Shelly were in conversation to pull Joniโ€™s attention away from the group. I took a step

closer to her and blurted out, โ€œZipโ€™s going to go with you to your shifts at the hospital.โ€

Her head snapped up. โ€œWhat do you mean?โ€

โ€œColt doesnโ€™t want you unprotected. Zip volunteered to be the one to drive you to and from work and sit at the hospital during your shifts.โ€

โ€œThat fucker,โ€ she seethed. โ€œSo when he told me heโ€™d leave me alone, he was full of shit.โ€

I nodded. โ€œFull of shitย andย Iโ€™m pretty sure heโ€™s on the edge. Donโ€™t give up on him just yet. I think heโ€™s close to breaking.โ€

โ€œIโ€™mย close to breaking.โ€

โ€œYeah, but what if you could finally get everything you want? What if you could really be with him?โ€

โ€œIโ€™ve tried throwing myself at him. He still balked.โ€

I nodded. โ€œI know, but if Zip is going to be at your place of work, heโ€™s bound to see you and the doctor who asked you out. Together. Make him jealous, Joni. Make him think heโ€™s really lost you and the only way to have you is to take you from someone else.โ€

โ€œThatโ€™s like my biggest fantasy come to life.โ€ She grinned.

โ€œHe canโ€™t take his eyes off you,โ€ I said. โ€œHe stares at you when he thinks youโ€™re not looking. Bring this shit to a boil and I guarantee heโ€™ll be taking whatever Colt gives him. Just make sure when you get him into bed, he has no reason to leave.โ€

โ€œOh, Iโ€™m on it. There are years of sexual tension between us. We might burn the house down.โ€ She winced. โ€œShit. Sorry.โ€

The humor on my lips died and I suddenly felt way too sober. โ€œI think I better call it a night.โ€

She nodded. โ€œItโ€™s late. You need to be alert when you give Colt hell.โ€

Rachel finished her cigarette and Joni got up from the table. We walked inside the clubhouse and I paused. โ€œYou notice that Darcy never came back to join us?โ€

โ€œSheโ€™s probably on top of Gray right about now,โ€ Rachel said with a grin. โ€œCome on, Shelly. Iโ€™ll show you the couch in the theater room. Darcyโ€™s kids are probably asleep on the floor in sleeping bags, so donโ€™t be alarmed if you see tiny people first thing in the morning.โ€

Shelly laughed. โ€œThanks for the heads up.โ€ She hugged me hard. โ€œI work tomorrow at nine, so you might still be asleep by the time I get out of here. I have to go home and shower and stuff before then. Canโ€™t show up at the salon with mascara around my eyes and smelling like a tequila emporium.โ€

I laughed. โ€œYeah. That wouldnโ€™t be a vote of confidence.โ€

โ€œYouโ€™re okay though?โ€ she whispered in my ear. โ€œI mean, he treats you well? We never really did get to talk about him. Not in depth, and not in the way that we normally do.โ€

โ€œHeโ€™s great.โ€

That was the truth.

Right now there was something between usโ€”a cold wallโ€”and I knew Dev was the one whoโ€™d put it there. But when Colt got home tonight, Iโ€™d claw my way through the bricks and mortar, Iโ€™d scale his fortress, Iโ€™d dig a tunnel underneath if I had to. Iโ€™d find a way back in, because we were stronger together than apart. And even if Colt couldnโ€™t tell me everything about the Blue Angels, this thing with Dev was about me specifically and I deserved to know.

Shelly pulled back and her hands went to my shoulders. She took a moment to stare into my eyes. โ€œThe house? Itโ€™s just stuff.โ€

โ€œPhotographs, Grammieโ€™s favorite tea cup, Momโ€™s jewelry? Thatโ€™s all just stuff? There is sentiment attached to those things.โ€

โ€œWhat did my father do when I moved out of the trailer? He set all my shit on the lawn and torched it. Things Iโ€™d bought with my own money. Tapestries that hid the dirty, water stained walls, the collage posters I spent hours making from recycled magazines Iโ€™d found outside the bowling alley.

I cried. I did. Because at that moment I only had one suitcase full of shitty old clothes that were falling apart. But I made it through, and you will too.โ€ She squeezed my shoulders. โ€œItโ€™s just stuff. The fire didnโ€™t take your memories. Okay?โ€

I sighed. โ€œThis is why I need you. Always.โ€ โ€œSoul sister.โ€

โ€œSoul sister.โ€

With one last hug, she turned and followed Rachel down the basement steps.

Joni placed a hand on my shoulder, reminding me that she was still there and had heard my entire exchange with Shelly. โ€œShe really is amazing. Itโ€™s too bad she already has a man. Sheโ€™d be a great Old Lady.โ€
