lora looked petrified as her little heart was pounding against her chest. I wanted her to be the one to tell everyone, granting her some control. I
knew what happened was a big deal to her, and it was for Eugene and me too.
Fuck, she was so good for us. I was still pissed off that Duke interrupted. Weโd barely even begun.
I didnโt see why this had to be so difficult. She wanted us. We wanted her. Duke tried scolding us earlier, but Eugene and I just walked away from him. He didnโt even believe his own words; why would I waste my time? He wanted her as badly as the rest of us.
That was why he had watched from the kitchen doorway for several minutes as we had our way with her before barging in. Eugene and I knew he was there, but Elora clearly had no idea. He said he didnโt want her in a sexual way, but his actions werenโt matching his words.
Felix looked shocked as he stared down at Elora. I narrowed my eyes at him, hoping he wouldnโt react poorly. He would have done the same thing if he had been there.
Sheโd had a confusing past two days, first the rouge attack; now she was exploring her newfound sexual feelings towards us. Elora had always been sensitive, and when she felt things, she felt them with her whole heart. She needed to know nothing was wrong with what had happened, and if any of them said the incorrect thing, Iโd lose it.
Quin leaned both hands against the kitchen counter, deeply perplexed. โWhat do you mean,ย fooled around?โย He asked.
Eloraโs heart skipped a beat before it started pounding again. โIt was my fault; I asked them to,โ she started. I widened my eyes at her, not expecting her to comment on it. She stood with her back against Dukeโs front, where
he held her shoulders almost defensively. I couldnโt blame him; Elora had nearly got her ass smacked by Felix mere minutes ago.
Her eyes wandered around to everyone as she spoke faster than Iโd ever heard her before. โIโI know it was wrong, but I donโt care, and if I donโt, neither should any of you. I know you all feel the tingles too, and thatโs not a coincidence. Unless I have a disease that I somehow gave to you…โ She softly shook her head, veering off-topic while her hypochondriac brain overthought.
Taking a shaky breath, she continued. โIโm very confused about a lot of things, and I havenโt felt these kinds of emotions before. So, if Iโm doing something wrong, you have to tell me,โ she glanced at Felix quickly. โSince the three of you got back, my brain has been mush, and Iโm not the only one acting weird, so youย canโtย be mad at meโโ
Felix softened his eyes, โNo oneโs mad at youโโ
โIโm really overwhelmed, between Duke sending mixed signals, almost kissing me, and then pretending it never happened,โ Duke tensed behind her, and I almost let out a small laugh. What a fucking hypocrite. โAnd Lucifer keeps making weird comments that I donโt understand, and Dane saying I did something unintentional thatโs making his hair crazy, and now this happens,ย andย you two,โ she looked at Eugene and me, โTell me thereโs nothing wrong with feeling like this, then you all react like Iย killedย someone,โ she rushed out in a single breath.
When she finally caught her breath, her voice came out shaky, and her eyes welled with tears. All the emotions she just said must have caught up with her. โBut I didnโt. You did. You killed thoseย thingsย like it was nothing. And it really scared me…โ
Duke bent to his knees and turned her around, hugging her face into his neck. She wrapped her arms tight around him and sobbed.
I widened my eyes. Why was she crying so much? I felt horrible, but I didnโt understand it. Maybe it was a human thing?
โShh, itโs okay, Elora. You donโt have to explain,โ Duke soothed.
โI donโt know why Iโm crying, I feel terrible, though,โ she said through broken tears into his neck.
My shoulders dropped. Iโd always hated seeing her cry.
I felt eyes on me and locked eyes with Lucifer. He was glaring at Eugene and me… what the fuck. If looks could killโฆ
Duke swooped her up into his arms, and she wrapped her legs around his stomach. โWe donโt have to talk about anything tonight,โ Duke started carrying her away. โHow about we watch a movie? How does that sound?โ He suggested.
She sniffled, โOkay,โ she agreed. โCan I have that candy bar now?โ She asked sweetly.
โWhat candy bar?โ Duke carried her out of sight and upstairs.
Felix sighed as he ran his hands through his hair, โI didnโt see that happening so soon,โ he said. He grabbed a glass and filled it with whisky, โWeโll discuss it tomorrow,โ he declared, looking exhausted as he walked out of the kitchen.
โMy question still stands; what the fuck did you mean by fooling around, Theo?โ Quin snapped. โSheโs not one of your whoresโโ
I glared back at him, โYou donโt think I know that?โ I spat. โItโs been months since Iโve fucked anyone because all I can think about is her. Donโt speak unless you know what youโre talking about,โ I seethed. How dare he accuse me of using her. I love her with my whole heart, and I would never treat her like some piece of meat. I knew I didnโt have the best reputation with women, but Elora was different. She was my Princess forever, and Iโd always treat her like one.
โI kissed her neck, and Theo never got past her panties; it was very PG- 13,โ Eugene answered Quin.
Quin nodded slowly, his mind clearly racing as he cleaned up dinner.
โIt might not have been a big deal to you two, but try to put yourself in her shoes,โ Dane said calmly, looking at the both of us.
I pushed my eyebrows together, not understanding. I knew it was new for her, but we were gentle and answered any questions she had. โAre you blaming us for her outburst?โ I concluded.
Dane nodded, โYes.โ With a pointed look, he grabbed his laptop and walked out.
Still feeling Luciferโs glare, I turned to meet his eyes. After thousands of years of knowing the man, I still couldnโt read him. He hid his emotions and thoughts remarkably well.
He stood up, still looking at Eugene and me. His jaw clenched before he spoke. โDo Elora a favor and educate yourselves on aftercare and sub drop,โ he said in his low tone. He joined Quin behind the counter and started helping him with the dishes.
He was right. How could I have been so negligent? Iโd never been with someone like Elora. She was very obviously innocent and submissive. Eugene and I should have seen her turmoil coming. For her, I would make sure to do better next time.
